Sculpey Guzzlord
10 hours and over a pound total of Sculpey clay.
Guzzlord is my favorite Ultra Beast by far and I figured it'd be appropriate if I went and made him out of Sculpey. His 'tongues' have twine in them, making them move, but otherwise Guzzy is Solid Clay. Bottom left picture Showcases the glow clay that makes up his face. Guzzys mouth started to shut while he was being baked, but it just ended up giving him an evil Grin, which I adore. All in all I feel I did my favorite Ultra beast justice, I hope you feel the same.

Guzzlord is (c) game freak/ Nintendo
Sculpey is (c) polyform Products

Have a nice day!

I honestly take my art easy, I don't do commissions or requests as a result. I use little more than a sketch book and pencil and on occasion an ounce or two (or five) of Sculpey modeling clay. I think of myself as a simple and kind person who enjoys seeing the art of others and I love to see them improve. I'm a rather lazy person though, don't expect me to do much very often, I hope to get along with others here on deviantart.

Thanks for +faving my Charizard sculpture! There are many more handmade dragon figurines in my gallery, if you'd like to take a look. :) (Smile)

I just did, your stuff is awesome! Definitely something I should aspire to be as good as!
I have a few questions though,
1. What sort of polymer clay do you use?
2. You said in one post that you baked(?) your dragon three times, I bake my Sculpey once only, is there any noticeable difference between stuff like that?
3. Your stuff is glazed over, what kind must you use? I must learn to do that...

You can find the answers to questions 1 and 3 in my Frequently Asked Questions journal.

For #2, you can bake polymer clay multiple times to no ill effect. This is useful if you want to set parts of your piece and then work on top of it without fear of ruining the parts you've already done. Just be sure not to set your oven too hot, because the clay will start to scorch, and this compounds the more times you put it in the oven.

I hope that helps!
